The YANTY Scholarship (You Are Never Too Young) was created to inspire and uplift young dreamers, just as Aaron Avont Johnson began his journey at the age of nine. As a child, Aaron wrote his first book, You Are Never Too Young, which encouraged kids to believe in themselves and their limitless potential. His early start in storytelling and filmmaking laid the foundation for his success, and now, through this scholarship, he is paying it forward. The YANTY Scholarship exists to remind young creators, scholars, and innovators that no dream is too big and no age is too small to make an impact.

This scholarship is designed to inspire and encourage young talents in entertainment, filmmaking, the arts, academics, and beyond. We believe that age should never be a barrier to greatness, and we want to recognize children who are already making a positive impact in their communities.
Nominate a child under 18 years old who is excelling in their craft, leading by example, and striving for excellence in any field. Whether they are a young filmmaker, artist, entrepreneur, scholar, activist, or innovator, we want to hear their story!
